His practical experience spans the globe and covers a gamut of specializations, including engineering and operations, R&D, process startup, finance and facilities strategic initiatives.
Prior to entering into Facilities Consulting, he served in corporate roles for companies such as Intel, Alcoa, Medtronic, and Honeywell. For those companies he led cross-functional and international teams to implement programs that improved organizational and facility efficiency.
Glenn’s successes in the corporate world and as a consultant include:

- Spearheading the development and implementation of a service level agreement for the facility arm of a research and development organization that clearly identified customer needs and implemented metrics for measuring the level of service
- Leading the core team for a Total Productive Maintenance program for a multi-billion-dollar, global manufacturing concern leading to streamlined, reliable and cost effective maintenance operations
- Managing the operations and engineering team responsible for developing a new manufacturing process, conducting volume testing, designing and building the facility, and monitoring its startup
Mark Stimac
Director
Mark was a leader at Intel Corporation for thirty years in various roles as he advanced through facilities management, beginning as a maintenance and projects supervisor. Mark had challenging roles such as managing all facilities operations at two semiconductor manufacturing plants (fabs) and a new assembly/test building for Intel. These positions also included management of Telecommunications, Security, and Safety.
Mark also has regional experience demonstrated by managing the Building Services for Intel’s operations in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. His success with regional management led to an assignment to build the facilities department for the entire country of Russia. Mark drove this effort for two and a half years, growing it into a fully results oriented department.
Mark returned to the US where he designed and implemented a facilities department that was responsible for the 17 non-manufacturing Intel facilities in the western hemisphere.
Mark’s 35 years of diverse experience make him an added benefit of the Step Function team.
